Elbow Falls is one of the best spots in Alberta to find an easily accessible waterfall. Winter was also a great time to go to get a nice long exposure during the days. The overcast skies reduced the amount of light so it was possible to get the water flow silky and smooth, I did several attempts and the top image is the one where I feel I go it just right. The second image shows the opposite effect of trying to capture the water and freeze the action with a faster shutter speed. Its a great spot to go in the winter as its at the footstep of the Rockies so not very hard to traverse even in deep snow cover and also has some easy to walk trails and pathways.
