Yesterday I went to the coastal area of the place where I live, it is 45 kilometers from my house so it is easy to get there, the place is called Las Islitas beach, and although I took almost 30 pictures in that place not all are intended for black and white, you always have to analyze which are the photos that go better in color or black and white, so here I show you 9 pictures that I took for the Monomad challenge.
Let's start with this photograph that personally is my favorite for different reasons, it fits very well in different compositions, there is action, and it tells a nice story that I don't need to say it with words, when you saw the picture you probably saw happiness and probably you felt like going to the beach too, or not?
As always, I like candid photography, so that's what I did, unplanned photographs where we can see the activity of people, street vendors and people who visit the place, consume and generate economy in the tourist area of the state, by the way the photo of the sailboats is part of a series that I was doing waiting for the best time for the composition, I still haven't decided if those photos will be in color or black and white, I still need to edit them.
I really liked the shape of the mountains for these compositions, so I tried to include them in almost all the photographs.
In these final photographs I could realize that I need new filters for my lenses, of better quality and more professional, although for an untrained eye they look good, for me that I have the original files I could notice some unwanted lights like flares that should not have come out since they were not a creative part of my composition.
By the way, having a clean sensor is a great help, although having just made this post I must spend time to clean the camera and all my gear again, because even if you don't want it, taking pictures on the beach, it is almost certain that there will be sand everywhere.
