Hello, friends of #blackandwhite, how are you doing?
Everything is fine here, the year is coming to an end and we are ready for what lies ahead. Yesterday, I was walking around the city and trying to show a friend my daily routine, my strategy for street photography. We went out at dawn because that's the best time for soft light; of course, we had coffee first to get our creative juices flowing, and then we were ready to go.
Why black and white? she asked me.
Because that way I can simplify the scene to what I really want to show, with a more dramatic touch, focusing on the textures in the stories, which is the most important thing for me.

And we arrive at the bay. At this time of the morning, it is wonderful, the sea is calm; it is perfect for sitting down and admiring the scenery.
I had never seen this car here before; I have driven down this block several times and this is the first time I have seen it; of course, I immediately went over to take a picture. 😁.
I see more and more cats on the street, all very well cared for. When I asked around, I was told that there are some houses that take them in as a refuge and feed them there. Good for them!!!
On the way back, to our surprise, a state bus arrived, which is rare; they call it the ghost of Route 34. It made me laugh because a lady was holding on tight as if to say, "They're not getting me off here."
And so the day ended, my friend super happy to have had a different experience and me for having taken these photos.

Hola, amigos de #blackandwhite, ¿cómo les va?
Por acá todo bien, ya terminando el año y listo para lo que se avecina. Les comento que ayer estuve caminando un poco por la ciudad e intentando enseñar a una amiga mi rutina diaria, de cómo es mi estrategia para hacer fotografía callejera. Salimos casi amaneciendo porque es la mejor hora por la luz suave; eso sí, café primero para atraer la creatividad y todo estaba listo.
¿Porqué blanco y negro?, me pregunta.
Es que así puedo simplificar la escena a lo que realmente quiero mostrar, con un toque más dramático, centrarme en las texturas en las historias, eso es lo más importante para mi.
Y llegamos a la bahía, a esa hora de la mañana es maravillosa, el mar tranquilo; es para sentarse y admirar el paisaje.
Este auto nunca lo había visto aquí; he pasado varias veces por esta cuadra y es la primera vez que lo veo; por supuesto, enseguida le fui encima a fotografiar. 😁.
Cada vez son más los gatos que veo en la calle, muy bien cuidados todos. Preguntando, me dijeron que hay algunas casas que los acogen a modo de refugio y allí los alimentan. ¡¡¡Bien por ellos!!!
Ya al regreso, para sorpresa nuestra, llegó un ómnibus estatal, cosa rara; a este le dicen el fantasma de la ruta 34. Me dio risa porque una señora iba agarrada como que de aquí no me sacan 🤣.
Y así terminó el día, mi amiga superfeliz por haber vivido una experiencia diferente y yo por haber hecho estas fotos.
Me despido, pues, agradezco su amabilidad de visitar mi trabajo y, como siempre, espero con ansias sus comentarios.
Nos vemos pronto con más fotos callejeras porque la calle siempre tiene algo que contar.
