Hello, this is my entry for the #monomad challenge. Today, for the first time in a long time, I passed by Yaniv cemetery in Lviv. It is in the city itself. Today I decided to go to the middle of the cemetery. This is a huge territory that includes 70 pieces of land, 6 memorials, as well as burials of famous figures of culture and art, politics and science. I felt calm walking among all these fields with graves. Peace and quiet prevail here. You don't even feel sadness. The only thing that came to my mind was that death is inevitable and all people will die sooner or later. It all depends on what a person leaves behind. There are composers and musicians whose music remains eternal and has not lost its relevance for centuries.
Привіт, це моя нова робота у моно. Сьогодні я вперше за довгий час проходила повз Янівський цвинтар у Львові. Це в самому місті. Я вирішила Сьогодні зайти в середину цвинтаря. Це величезна територія, яка вміщає в собі 70 частин землі, 6 меморіалів, а також поховання відомих діячів культури і мистецтва, політики і науки. Мені було спокійно ходити поміж усі ці поля з могилами. Тут переважає спокій і тиша. Навіть не відчувається смуток. Мені лише одне спадало на думку, що смерть невідворотна і всі люди рано чи пізно помруть. Все залежить від того, що людина залишить після себе. Є композитори, музиканти , чия музика залишається вічною і не втрачає своєї актуальності вже століттями.
Actually, I didn't see much of the sculptures. And even those are in bad shape. Apparently, no one visits these graves anymore. A large part of this cemetery is made up of Jewish graves. I have visited several Jewish cemeteries, but this one was different in that it is rare to see an inscription in Hebrew. The inscriptions are written in a language I understand, they are beautiful, gentle, caressing words.
There was once a large Jewish community in Lviv, and two synagogues have survived to this day. Lviv was and remains an international city.

Скульптур насправді я побачила мало. І навіть ті в поганому стані. Мабуть вже ніхто ці могили не відвідує. Велику частину цього цвинтаря складає єврейські могили. Я відвідувала кілька єврейських цвинтарів, але цей відрізнявся тим, що рідко де можна побачити надпис на івриті. Надписи написані зрозумілою мені мовою, це красиві ніжні, пестливі слова.
У Львові була колись велика єврейська громада, навіть до сьогодні збереглися дві синагоги. Львів був є і залишається інтернаціональним містом.
