This crab lives on the beach, building a small hole the size of its body. If I measure its body size, it is not even an inch, see when I put it in the palm of my hand. Different from the small crabs I have found before. Some previous crabs have large claws on one side, with a black, rough shell. While this beach crab has different characteristics, it has the same size of both claws - not large on one side - and has a bright, yellowish shell color.
I took some photos of it with my cellphone camera. When it was finished I put it in the palm of my hand, then took pictures of it again. Seeing the shape of the eyes, body and face of this cute crab, I estimate that it is female. But this is just a guess, it could be the opposite, what is clear is that this beach crab only has two sexes, male and female.
I'm going to put this (Beach Crab) into a daily #monomad contest organized and curated by
