Monomad: Capturing the action at the skatepark [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

There’s a certain beauty in taking photographs and perfectly capturing a moment in time, but personally, I’ve started to notice a certain beauty in movement as well, especially in photos where the activity itself is the main focus. That’s why today I’m sharing these photos with you; I hope you enjoy them.

Hay cierta belleza al momento de hacer fotografías y lograr congelar el movimiento a la perfección, pero personalmente, he empezado a notar cierta belleza también en el movimiento y más cuando son fotografías donde lo principal es esa misma actividad, por eso, el día de hoy les comparto estas fotografías que espero que las disfruten.

When I take photos at the skatepark, I really try to capture different perspectives, making use of the various features there, as well as playing with the light and shadows, because when you’re shooting outdoors, it’s something you can’t fully control, but you can certainly make the most of it.

Cuando hago fotografías en el skatepark, intento mucho dar distintas perspectivas, aprovechando también los distintos elementos que hay en ese lugar, además de jugar con las luces y sombras del lugar, porque al hacer fotografías en el exterior, es algo que no controlas del todo, pero que sí puedes aprovechar.

I always try to take photos with an urban style, and personally, when I’m shooting at the skatepark, that’s when I feel I can capture that style most easily. I suppose I have all the elements I need to do so, which is undoubtedly why these are the kinds of photos I enjoy taking.

Siempre intento hacer fotografías con un estilo urbano y personalmente, cuando hago fotografías en el skatepark es el momento en el que creo que consigo ese estilo con más facilidad, supongo que me apoyo de todos los elementos necesarios para ello, sin duda por eso es el tipo de fotos que disfruto realizar.
