Today I can say that I skipped the routine of my days. And all thanks to the fact that someone invited me to drink the first-morning coffee at her house. Great, I said to myself. I jumped out of bed very early, took a shower, put on my outfit (you know) and grabbed my bike. I have to say I brought the coffee, the coffee pot and something else... I'm Shelnixxx. You wouldn't stand me. Lol. I'm laughing my head off writing this.
(reality often surpasses fiction) π - no, she told me that her coffee pot was not working properly.
100th Street, Marianao Obelisk.
The street is always so lively... of course, I couldn't leave the Panasonic Lumix at home gathering dust. She also accompanied me on the adventure. We both knew that we would end up chatting as only we know how, I mean, so intimately... π
I was there for a while at the house of this girl I've known for a long but short time. Yes, let me explain. We met one day when I was visiting my best friend. We saw each other quickly and then for some reason we exchanged some sporadic messages on WhatsApp. Yesterday was one of those days. She lives relatively close to my house, so, why not? I've put a lot of locks on the door of meeting people in real life. Today I decided to remove some of them.
At the place where the coffee and biscuit tasting took place, my Lumix wanted to be involved.
The talk was very engaging and I didn't notice that two hours went by very quickly. So I said goodbye as soon as I realised it was getting a bit late. People have their own plans and their own lives... so I went out to the street again and looked around to see with joy that many images would be captured today.
Again I said βgreat!β and thanked the girl and the Universe for the good times.
The guava juice was tasty, in case you read this post. π
I got to the roundabout at the Obelisco and Ciudad Escolar Libertad, stopped in front of the Elderly Residence, which is also located there, and took out my camera.
Ready for the #Monomad Challenge? We'll see.
As soon as I looked over, I saw the old woman waiting. I thought she must be scorching in the sun. And I was worried because she wasn't moving. π€
I was at a roundabout, I photographed a lot of cars, but while I was editing the photos I thought that the best thing for this post would be the people.
San Alejandro Academy of Fine Arts
Harsh shadows and scenes that caught my attention, one after the other.
The visit or the disconnection? It is unfortunate that some people can't take their eyes off their mobile phone while life happens.
The mind knows how to group information at the subconscious level. I made two similar captures and only 7 minutes passed between them.
Here I started thinking about white garments and magically I got what I wanted.
And I think this shot needed a bit of colour where I left off... π
