Doing what you like is freedom. Liking what you do is happiness. Frank Tyger
These smiles and these bodies contain a thousand worries, fears, longings, unresolved and even non-existent problems. It doesn't matter the magnitude of each thing; it is simply life.
The photographer is not in any photo but her gaze is there, her search is here like an insistent knock on a door that remains closed.
So she goes and leans against the door and it is not her hand that knocks, it is her heart.
Perhaps she just focused, while shooting to make these photos, on what she wanted to feel and what these bodies were telling between the chatter and the silences.
Behind a smile, behind a written word, behind something that could be thought of as art, there is life, beautiful life with all its flights and ravines. And there are also colours here, there are warm, indomitable, imprisoned hearts, hearts that once stumbled at grey doors.
And this is also life.
But here we all experienced freedom. We picked up our bikes and pedalled vigorously to the beach.
Nobody stopped us from feeling everything we felt before, during and after. We like to do it, we can't help it, we don't close the door to the desire to feel all the freedom and that's why we all experienced happiness.
It's as simple as that.
I have also been guilty of a little bit more joy when I showed them the pictures.
So we all agreed to participate in the #Monomad Challenge.
