I have the impression that few people realise what a gift they are. Do you know what I mean? Each one of us is ‘the gift’. It is the wrapping that makes the difference. I heard a man saying this and I like it.
And you'll think I'm talking about the clothes you wear that make you look elegant, sober, silly or careless to others... Ha! No, that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about communication.
The gift is already you, but... how do you communicate the gift that you are?
Have you seen how there are people who have that, let's say, magnet effect? They have something, something that you don't know what fiddle 😁 it is, but it transmits, they know how to reach you. They touch you, even if they are not physically touching you. Sometimes they don't even have to open their mouths. Communication is not just about words.
Likewise, there are people who, no matter how hard they try, just can't communicate effectively. And you pass them by. That's it.

I took these photos a long time ago. I haven't left the house these days, except to do some shopping nearby, in the neighbourhood. In fact, before I got the camera I bought through Aeroenvío on Amazon, a friend lent me a GoPro Hero 4 so that I could take some recordings. I only tried it one day but apparently, the memory card was not suitable and gave an error. Then at home, I changed the card and it worked. I was able to record the rain because it rained, I could... but I didn't do it. I'm busy with other things, my time is diluted, I make lunch for the beings of light in this house, my time is diluted. Siesta (nap), Hive, again time slips through my fingers and then it's time to sleep.
There was a time when the African snail seemed to herald the apocalypse here in Havana and some of the surrounding municipalities. I went for work, of course, to San Antonio de los Baños, southwest of the capital.
I would like to participate in this #Monomad Challenge with this work.
Lust for sex hahaha... or playful snails.
Omnipresence
So far nothing complicated... just some exotic visitors in San Antonio.
F... you know 😵
In those days, the media created such a state of alarm that fear was almost like a knife in the air... but that was huge.
At that point I didn't even want to sit there in a park, or touch anything... I almost put nylon bags on my hands.
Things were going normally for the locals, except for some who couldn't quite stand such indecency.
I took some general views. I already had a kind of itch... this work trip was a bit unbearable.
Near the river, things got more intense with the snails.
Sometimes you overestimate things, don't you?
The silent advance of the snail troops
Fight against mosquitoes
Apparently that was a department of Hygiene and Epidemiology because the fumigators were there, checking equipment and receiving instructions.
Closer.
I miss that 300 mm telephoto lens.
