Monomad Challenge of the Day
Over the years of being a photographer and a lightpainter I've been to all manner of abandoned buildings to shoot. This is a collection of some of those locations. Unfortunately a lot have been closed down, closed off, or demolished to build new properties..
Water Works..
This is the main corridor of an old water works pumping station we shot in. We didn't light paint but there was some excellent graffiti there by the likes of Rocket01 and Faunagraphics..
This next shot is at the same waterworks, and we were having an explore. I loved the texture of the paint peeling off the wall and the door..
The Graff Factory as we affectionally called this was the first location where I shot lightpainting so for me olds a special place. Unfortunately over the years the quality of graff diminished heavily and now its fenced off to be demolished.
The final location was an abandoned factory, nearly falling apart. This was one of the outer buildings with no roof. I loved the symetry of the roof and its reflection in the fortunately placed puddles..
Equipment Used - Nikon D600 Camera, 18-65mm lens
