This series is focused on the entanglement of grape vines and leaves. There are two elements that stood out for me during this exploration; the linear, spiraling movement of the vines and the lace-like quality of the leaves due to insect appetites. Wild grape vines grow in every available space where I live and go unnoticed by most because they are "ordinary" here. It is when one pauses and observes that which appears to be insignificant becomes transcendent.
