Title: Rock pigeons
The connection between pigeons and humans is thousands of years old. Originally, wild pigeons nested in cavities in the rocks, but for hundreds of years, they have always been near people.
Interestingly, you will rarely see young pigeons whose dependence on their parents lasts for about 40 days. They spend this time in nests made on the tops of towers, on the roofs of tall buildings, or under bridges.
After this period, young pigeons mix with older ones and can be distinguished by a less bright color of feathers.
During the day, they stay on various elevated objects and roofs in groups, rarely individually.
