Hi everyone,
This is the first entry for the #monomad post. I am so happy to be here. I think it will be fun to be here. Because I love black and white photos. When I first joined this platform, I started to explore communities firstly. When I saw the Black and White community, I joined immediately. In addition, the colors of my football team, which I am a fan of, are black and white. I am happy to introduce Beşiktaş to you.
I want to make my first post here with snow photos. But before that, I want to put one of my photos. I love my black and white photos. It's like I look noble in these photos :) My mom was toom this photo. Thanks, mama.
The subject of this post is snow. I live in Istanbul. This city is the most crowded city in Turkey. The population of this city is 16 million. That's why extraordinary measures are taken when it snows. Do not go out unless necessary. Schools were suspended. Public institutions remained closed for two days. These measures are important because it snowed a lot last January and these measures were not taken. It's been a tough few days. Many people were stranded on the road and had to walk home.
Now, apart from these, I would like to leave you alone with beautiful snow photos. I took it from my house balcony. Especially the snow accumulating on the trees is very beautiful. I took the first photos from the balcony at the back of my house. There is both a car park and a small playground there. I'm having a hard time seeing the playground. In some hours, children come and play snowballs there.
I took the last three photos from the front balcony oy my house. Here is the main road. Everyone parked their car because no one left their house. In addition, the construction of the subway continues. That's why the road on the other side is completely closed. I loved the black and white version of the photos, like a postcard.
We are sitting peacefully in our homes. For this, we have to thank God. So what do those who have to work outside do? We have to think about that too. Or what do those who don't have a home do? We must help them because it is our duty.
See you in the new post.
Take care of yourself.
