I always take a few days to come back to this MONOMAD challenge, I would love to participate every day but I feel I have to leave room for so many talented photographers that join this challenge.
Today I'm back again with some images a bit different from what I usually post in this challenge.
Dahomis is without a doubt my favorite model for studio sessions where I experiment with new concepts and lighting schemes. She is very talented and professional, she concentrates as much as I do on making each shot perfect and according to what we had planned in the previous concept.
This time we decided to do something totally new and more sensual concept for which we chose a thin white gown which we sprayed with water to achieve the effect of transparency and adherence to her skin.
This concept is inspired by the marble sculpture "Ondine emerging from the waters" made in 1880 by the great neo-classical sculptor Chauncey Bradley Ives.
Although I will never be a sculptor, much less an artist of that stature, from my passion for photography I honor these great men who have left us these masterpieces as their legacy for all mankind.
This is my submission to the #monomad constest February 26th.
Thanks for keeping up this great photo challenge! Consider the image of your choice for my post.
