No, not everything at the same time (although it would probably be an awesome sight!): just an assorted bunch of species I've happened to stumble upon in my nature walks, here in a different monochromatic view, for a #monomad challenge.
Some species do make my life easier, such as this white wagtail, strolling by the river shore; the grey, white and black are already present, no need to change anything. She was probably just curious on why was a guy with a camera chasing her.
Eurasian jays, on the other hand, are a little more colourful. But add a slightly fluffed bird, in a very cold, cloudy and misty day, and the setting is almost a monochromatic one, even without post processing.
And no, this is not going to be a full feathered post: just look at what was trying to blend with the ground as I was passing by, camera and binoculars at hand.
Truth be told, I wasn't expecting to find cats in this location; especially with this behaviour, since they didn't vanished as I was getting near, as is the norm with "straish" small village cats; they jsut stood there, watching my every move... maybe there were annoyed because the wanted to be the only ones doing some "birdwatching"?
More commonly found at this location, and more easily spotted, these furry creatures...
They normally don't pay me that much attention, but this one decided to take a longer look before joining the flock, that was already grazing away.
So, we have fur and feathers... what are we missing?
Scales.
Most people ignore those, but I get a kick every time one of these small lizards stops enough time for me be able to appreciate them. I still need to brush up my identification skills on the portuguese reptile fauna; as a ton of things these days... work in progress!
Left the slimy stuff for the end. Come on, who hasn't encountered a black slug before?
Apart from damaging some cultures, they are very useful, given they are natural decomposers; and since the adults are fully black (as it was the case here)... they also make my monomad challenge easier! :)
