You are so right about the best shots happening when the camera is at home. It is like the universe waits for us to be unprepared before it shows us something amazing. I usually have my phone with me but even then i feel like i miss the "perfect" moment by a split second. By the time i get the app open the person has moved or the light has changed. It is really frustrating sometimes. I admire that u actually commit to carrying the extra weight of a camera every single day. That takes a lot of dedication that i just dont have yet. Most of the time i am just in a rush to get home and dont even look at my surroundings. Seeing your work reminds me that there is beauty in the everyday struggle of the streets. Even people just walking, standing, doing simple activities or shopping can look deep in black and white. It is a good reminder to slow down a bit. I hope u keep bringing that camera everywhere.
