MONOMAD MONDAY "STREET PHOTOGRAPHS"

I hope you all are fine. I am also fine here. This is my entry for the #monomad challenge April 5th. The photographs that I have shared with you in today's post are of the city of Dwarka. Dwarka is a very famous and holy city of India. Dwarka is located near the Arabian Sea in the state of Gujarat. Dwarka is one of the four important pilgrimage sites of Hinduism. Which is called "Char Dham".

Here above I have presented two photographs to you in which the temple seen in the first photograph is the main temple of Dwarkadhis. The city of Dwarka has a close relationship with Lord Krishna. According to the scriptures, after leaving Mathura, Lord Krishna made Dwarka his kingdom. Due to this, Dwarka is also known as the "City of Lord Krishna". The most important place in Dwarka is the temple of Dwarkadhis. Which is seen in the first photograph of the two photographs above. This temple is very beautiful and every year thousands of devotees come to have darshan of Derakadhish.

Dwarka is a beautiful city. Apart from the main Dwarkadhish temple, there are many other temples here. The photographs taken above have presented those temples that look packed to the eye. If I talk more about Dwarka, then the history of Dwarka is very old and rich. According to ancient stories and scriptures, the old city of Dwarka was submerged in the sea. Even today, some remains of that ancient city are believed to be under water. This makes Dwarka not only a religious place but also an important historical place.

Above, I have presented two photographs to you, in which the cable bridge has been presented in the first photograph. The wires in this cable bridge are seen beautifully in black and white in the photograph. While in the second photograph, the windmills installed in the area around it have been captured and presented in the photograph. Dwarka is located on the coast. Due to which the wind blows a lot here. Therefore, a large number of windmills have been installed here to generate electricity through windmills.

In the first photograph above, the flag of Dwarkadhish can be seen waving in the air. This flag is red in color which looks beautiful in the blue sky background. While in the second photograph, the sea of Dwarka can be seen. This second photograph has captured the high waves rising in this sea. The seashore of Dwarka is a mixed place of being powerful and peaceful. In the photograph above, the vast and endless waters of the Arabian Sea are shown touching the shores of this holy city. The waves rise and fall repeatedly. Due to which a rhythmic sound is created. Which makes the atmosphere here pleasant.

If you look carefully at the first photograph above, you will get the impression that the sea is strong and alive. The waves in the sea are moving fast and are crashing against the stone walls near the shore. This shows the power of nature. At the same time, the water also looks attractive. Because people are seen standing in it and bathing. These people are enjoying the cool water and fresh sea air. On one side of the photograph, there is a temple building near the sea. This reminds us that Dwarka is not just a coastal place but also a very important religious city. Devotees often come to bathe in the sea before visiting the Dwarkadhish temple. Devotees believe that taking a dip in the sea purifies the body and soul.

Apart from this, there are many places worth visiting in Dwarka. These places include Rukmini Devi Temple, Bet Dwarka and Gomti Ghat. These places are important for both religious and cultural reasons. Dwarka is a place where religion, history and nature come together.
