| She could still feel the heat in her body after walking so fast toward that bench by the river. She had arranged to meet someone she met a week ago, on Monday night, at the bar she often went to for wine with her friends. “My name is Miguel,” he said — and that’s how it all began. She was surprised to see that, even though she was late, he still wasn’t there. More than surprise, it was disappointment. She leaned against a tree and waited... and waited. Hours passed, and he never came. | TodavĂa sentĂa el calor en su cuerpo de andar tan rápido hacia aquel banco en el paseo del rĂo. | The streets were alive, full of people — tourists, couples, and locals walking around. She got tired of waiting and went to the clock square, crossing Prague’s most famous bridge. Ella se cansó de esperar y se fue a la plaza del reloj, cruzando el puente más famoso de Praga.
