Una de las incertidumbres habituales de los fotógrafos es saber cuándo hacer o revelar una foto en blanco y negro o a color.
One of the usual uncertainties for photographers is knowing when to take or develop a black and white or color photo.
En mi caso particular muchas veces lo tengo claro, para mí la fotografía en blanco y negro refuerza la iluminación y las texturas, centrándonos en estos elementos al tener la ausencia del color.
In my particular case, many times I have it clear, for me black and white photography reinforces lighting and textures, focusing on these elements by having the absence of color.
Si el color no aporta nada a la imagen, pues es mejor quitarlo, y resaltar los demás elementos que si nos pueden llegar a interesar como artistas. Esa ha sido siempre mi justificación a la hora de dejar una foto de una manera u otra.
If the color does not contribute anything to the image, then it is better to remove it, and highlight the other elements that may interest us as artists. That has always been my justification when leaving a photo in one way or another.
En esta serie que les presento, la luz y la textura toman vital importancia, otorgando un dramatismo y un ambiente único a cada imagen. Si estuvieran a color, pues perderían todo sentido, la luz natural, la textura del mar, las siluetas, no se verían de igual manera.
In this series that I present to you, light and texture take on vital importance, giving each image a dramatic quality and unique atmosphere. If they were in color, they would lose all meaning, the natural light, the texture of the sea, the silhouettes, they would not be seen in the same way.
