Good morning, Hivers.
Today I want to share with you a small series I made together with a good friend at the Automobile Museum. There we had the chance to see some truly remarkable classics—not so much because of their model or condition, since in the streets of Havana you can still find rarer and better-preserved examples—but because of the history behind them. Some of these cars once belonged to personalities of Cuban culture and politics, while others took part in important moments of our history.
I’ll be honest, I simply let myself be carried away by the images. The light of the place and the gathering of so many classic cars in one space created a very special atmosphere for photography.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una pequeña serie que realicĂ© junto a un buen amigo en el Museo del AutomĂłvil. AllĂ tuvimos la oportunidad de ver algunos clásicos verdaderamente trascendentales. No tanto por el modelo o el estado de conservaciĂłn —ya que por las calles de La Habana aĂşn circulan ejemplares más raros y mejor cuidados— sino por la historia que guardan. Algunos de estos autos pertenecieron a personalidades de la cultura y la polĂtica cubana, y otros fueron parte de momentos importantes de nuestra historia.
Les soy honesto: me dejĂ© llevar por las imágenes. La luz del lugar y la concentraciĂłn de tantos clásicos en un mismo espacio ofrecĂan una atmĂłsfera muy especial para fotografiar.
