Greetings hivers
With a bit of cold in Cuba, it almost seems like people are heading somewhere snowy. We are not used to temperatures dropping much, and we literally dress up for it. You see all kinds of winter clothing that sometimes haven’t been used in years. This winter has been particularly cold in Cuba. In some places in the center of the island, temperatures dropped to 0 degrees at one point during the night, and that was something extraordinary.
In Havana, every now and then, we see European tourists wearing short sleeves while all Cubans are literally bundled up. Of course, this cold is nothing at all for them.
Today, the selection I will share with you is a small sample of how we keep warm here in Cuba, where we are not used to living through very cold winters. I hope you like it. I’ll be reading you.
Saludos hivers
