Another of my favorite models is Jade, again running with the theme of no bullshit, no drama and no diva... She's just brilliant...
It's been a while since I'd worked with her, 1 year to the day to be precise!!! a little shoot in that crap bit inbetween Christmas and New Year that nobody knows what bloody day it is!! However, the 30th of December will probably now be known as Jadey day...
Jade's stunning, long auburn hair, curves in all the right places and as said above, her attitude is brilliant... She's just a pleasure to shoot with, and another model that I just click with... We don't even have to speak for each other to understand what we need to do... it just happens....
Building a relationship with the model is key.. (no not like that kind of relationship, thats just being a nobhead!) but a relationship where we both get each others way of working... As usual, we spent more time chatting and putting the world to rights instead of shooting.. but that time is as, if not more important than the shooting itself... It builds the relationship, it breaks down walls and it makes us human!!
Shot in her new home, I didnt have the space to bring out the softboxes and ad200's, so I went with the new lighting of choice, the RGB LED's from neweeer, I'm liking them... We did a bit of coloured work with them, which I admit, I think I need a bit of practising / learning on with it, but I'm booked on a worksop in March, hopefully its another good schoolday.
On thing we did enjoy shooting was the 'voyuer' set... There's something strangely erotic about it.. Sexy without showing any genitals... It's all in the mind!
And of course, I had to get the fractals out lol
