Well, this was a shoot I'd been wanting for a number of years... Pippa for me is one of the top notch models on the circuit, and I'd not been able to get a shoot sorted as she's based down south. She however held a couple of days at a local studio to me so I jumped on..
However, with recent events I felt like bailing out... Mentally I wasnt in a great place, I'd got zero idea's and I had a broken rib which was giving me some real pain..
But, the shoot was paid for, I needed the 'pick me up', and it was Pippa.... A model I'd wanted to shoot for ages... So I had my daughter in tow and we went over to Sheffield for a couple of hours fun.
I'm still editing this set, so no doubt there will be another post with more images from it...
I've mentioned that I had a broken rib for this shoot... oh... god it hurt, stopping me in my tracks at times and even making me think wether to continue the shoot or not.. I've not had pain like that for a long long time.. But we carried on, albeit taking a few breaks and slowing down.
As for Pippa.. well as well as being stunning, shes the ultimate model.. Simply a posing machine, fluently moving from pose to pose with each pop of the flash... One thing that I need to improve with my photography is stopping.... I stop and look at the images too much, I need to start rattling off 20-25 poses in one hit..
Once I'm back on my feet, in my own house and a little more financially stable, I will be shooting Pippa again, there is absolutely no doubt about that.. She's soo many looks and tricks to her, I need to do more... Even if it means taking a trip down south.
