I know.. Amy has featured a lot in recent posts... Truth is, I've not had many shoots without her being involved...
Thats not a bad thing.. The progression and evolution from the first shoot to our more recent is clear to see.
She's certainly working hard.. most noticably is the fact she's lost a bit of weight over the last few months...
Now I dont really care much if any model i work with is carrying a few extra pounds (I certainly am!!) as long as they look healthy and happy.. then thats enough for me. But Amy has been hitting the gym and it shows.
We had a bit of a shoot around my old hometown of Rotherham (uk) and ventured down to an old steelworks... Long closed down, but now used as a tourist attraction.. The backdrops, lines and just all round atmosphere just kinda fitted in with what i wanted to get.
I've recently bought some RGB LED panels... Mainly for using instead of gels on some shoots - but thought I'd give them a try out on this shoot instead of the godox ad200/600's i usually bring out.
The bonus of the led panels is that theyre far lighter, but would they give me enough light? could i control the light as i wanted? Well, if I'm honest, I'm impressed with them... Totally different way of shooting, but I think they've performed well on this shoot.. Given me enough light, controlling the light isnt as easy, but as anything it's a play off.. work out whats useful to you on the shoot you have planned.... For me, the handyness of them is outweighing carrying loads of kit about..
