Hello, black and white photography lovers.
I see the post I shared about the triathlon two weeks ago got a good response. So how about we show the cycling event from this past weekend?
It was a three day competition; I made it to two of them. The race circuit was in Mar Azul, by the sea. The wind was harsh… and the sun was terrible. I suffered on my way there and suffered again on my way back. I can't even imagine the heat the racers endured. All I can say is the temperature was around 40°C.
For this event I used two lenses, always with my trusty Canon 5D Mark III. Someone lent me a Carl Zeiss 180mm f/2.8 Sonnar: a true beast!!!! very heavy, manual focus, hard to nail… but once you lock the focus, the sharpness is incredible. The other lens was the classic Canon 24-105mm.
Here are the photos from Saturday. Later, when my country's internet connection allows me to upload them with decent quality, I'll share the images from Sunday.
Cheers.
