Hello to all black and white photography lovers. Today I’m sharing a criterium race held in a coastal area called Mar Azul.
I headed out with my entire arsenal (every lens I own) but in the end, I only used the Canon 24-105mm, the 70-300mm, and the Carl Zeiss 80mm. It’s funny... you never truly know what you’re going to find out there, so I carry it all just in case.
The event was divided into three categories: Women’s, Men’s U23, and Elite, but I’ve decided to mix them all together here. I chose to present these photos in black and white to create a cleaner visual line; cycling kits and bikes are often so colorful that they can distract the eye. By removing the color, I wanted to make sure you see nothing but the pure action.
I hope you enjoy the series. Best regards!
