Hello black and white lovers, this is my entry for #monomad challenge of today, I chose simple photos, or rather that inspire simplicity for me. I hope you like them.

Today my heart aspires to the essential. Looking at the images in my folders that collect photographs of Venice, I have chosen photos that I think could adhere to the current of minimalism. I absolutely do not want to do artistic lessons because I don't know anything about it (!)
but I like the concept of minimalism as a metaphor for a lifestyle that moves away from the superfluous, from the excesses of consumerism, from the useless and unbridled possession of objects that are not of help and only generate disorder. I am not an extremist, I do not mean that we must have nothing or strip ourselves of every good like the Franciscan friars, but we must recognize that we have well exceeded the measure of equilibrium, pushing ourselves further, in the world of sterile superabundance.
I believe it is appropriate to go back to giving the right weight to things and people, dedicating ourselves to actions that give human value to life.

Oggi il mio cuore punta all'essenziale. Guardando le immagini nelle mie cartelle che raccolgono fotografie di Venezia ho scelto foto che mi sembra potrebbero aderire alla corrente del minimalismo. Non voglio assolutamente fare lezioni artistiche perchè non me ne intendo per nulla (!) ma mi piace il concetto di minimalismo come metafora di uno stile di vita che si allontani dal superfluo, dagli eccessi del consumismo, dal possesso inutile e sfrenato di oggetti che non servono a nulla e generano solo disordine. Non sono estremista, non voglio dire che non dobbiamo avere nulla o spogliarci di ogni bene come i frati francescani, però dobbiamo riconoscere che abbiamo ben sorpassato la misura dell'equilibrio, spingendoci oltre, nel mondo della sovrabbondanza sterile. Io ritengo sia opportuno tornare ad attribuire il giusto peso alle cose e alle persone, dedicandoci alle azioni che danno valore umano alla vita.
