Maybe it's just me but this is the weirdest pier in California.
There are no waves because of the breakwater. It's dingy and rundown. Most piers are the focal point of a city. This pier you won't even see it when you drive by because of the horrible condo's around it.
These condos - in my opinion - should be torn down. It should be a park there to open up the area and let it breathe.
I guess I will never get over living at the Pacific Ocean in a place where they destroyed the surf with a huge breakwater
