My entry for the #mononad challenge.
For this week's "heavy industrial" set, I opted to go to work on Sunday and get some payroll finished up. Once completed, I wandered the isolated shop in search of something interesting to photograph with my smartphone. Lo and behold, I found this piece of metal near the boring machine.
The minor markings on the top of the metal slab are barely noticeable when you walk by. However, if the lights and shadows are just right, the geometry of the surface of steel stands out. At least it did for me...
I believe the piece of metal is incomplete. I walked by today and the slab was still sitting there...so I'm not sure what exactly this will be used for. Yet it was fun to photograph and convert to black and white!
