Hail to the Hive!
I’ve been a little inactive on Hive this past week due to massive changes in the fabric of my little existence. We’ve sold Badger the Narrowboat and moved temporarily onto dry land.
“What!”
I hear you cry. Yup sadly yes. We were thinking of moving off her and putting her up sor sale over the winter but someone came in and made us an offer that just made sense to say yes to. So we did and this whole week has been a whirlwind of packing, organising, lifting, shifting and stressing.
But it’s all done now and we are letting the dust in our brains settle as we ponder what comes next. After the stress of having to leave the Philippines 18 months ago and return to the UK amid the height of the covid panic I am reluctant to jump straight into another situation too quickly.
Also feeling pretty tired after the move. Amazing how much crap you can fit into a tiny 28ft narrowboat, but crammit in we did and move it out we had to. Phew, glad that’s over.
So now it’s about taking some time to figure out the next move. Hmmmm what to do what to do?
