Hail to the Hive!
There’s a graffiti festival on in Leicester at the moment called ‘Bring the Paint’ and it’s pretty awesome. As I explore the city and find the locations of the artwork from not only this year but 2 years ago when the last one occured, I can’t help thinking what amazing comtent it provides.
And one thing I couldn’t help trying out, even though they are full of vibrant colour, was black and white. And boy oh boy does it work well with some of this stuff.
As much as these amazing works of art look so good in colour some, like this, look equally as amazing in #monochrome. Don’t you agree?
The urban buildings with art and a moody sky all in our favourite medium, superb. I don’t know why I was so surprised as when you see the images in black and white they are really quite striking.
I am going to be a busy boy capturing the images at the festival so expect more streetart but also don’t be surprised if zi find more that work so well in monochrome.
