Hail to the Hive!
It's been a rainy day but we decided to move Narrowboat Badger along the canal a few miles and fill up with water at the waterpoint on route. This looked like a nice spot, we've been here before and it's nice and quiet.
As the rains cleared and the sun started to go down I could see mist forming in the fields around. It had a magical almost ethereal look to it.
So I naturally jumped ashore with my camera and set about taking some shots of the surroundings of our current mooring spot. I love this nomadic life. Being so connected to the outdoors all the time means I don't miss these little things as they happen all around me. It seems that because the surroundings change so often I feel almost more aware of whats happening all around, like I am more tuned in.
I wonder what morning will bring?
Maybe I should get up early and catch the sunrise. I have a fire pit ordered and a solid fuel stove on its way too so I will be up in the morning looking for firewood. Maybe I get up early and get some morning shots as well.
