Hail to the Hive!

I had to get my new bridge fix in as we passed through Kings Lock today before mooring up for the night. I do love the way the lock gates can be seen through the bridge with the narrow steps on the tight heading up the the lock gate.

These little brick bridges and locks were custom made for monochrome in my opinion. Almost begging for you to make them black and white to emphasize every little detail of age and texture and the lovely brick archway. Their imperfections make them perfect to me. They are simply wonderful constructions.
