My current preference is diving using an old school twin hose regulator. The big difference is that the exhaust for the bubbles is behind my head and not under my chin as with most modern scuba breathing regulators. I like it as its quiter, the bubbles don't get in your view (which is nice for filming ) and it looks totally badass
