Hail to the Hive!
Looking back on the photo library I have from my recent trip to India has just made me crave a return as it was a bounty of great locations to capture everyday life on the streets. Such a fertile arena for street photography.
I remember smiling to myself seeing so many temples on busy streets and then remembered how many Indian Temples there were innmy home town of Leicester UK, where along many everyday streets there were Hindu & Sikh temples for the local community to gather and worship.
In Pondy I literally wandered for miles and miles up and down all manner of streets and was never bothered or harassed once, which I found a refreshing change from a lot of places on my travels. It allowed me to get lost in my own thoughts, take photos and sit and have a drink watching the busy world buzz past me.
Adverts clamoring for attention competing with the holy places.
The ine thing about asian cities is they are very ,very busy places with the masses seemingly in constant motion.
But with the occasional quiet back street. This last photo above I think is my favorite, and Iām not sure why.
