Hail to the Hive!
I always love a little bit of exploration around the area where we moor up. it has become a bit of a ritual. There's something about it that reminds me of being a kid.
I know I am not discovering anywhere new but there's something about the mystery of it all, about where things lead and the feeling that perhaps i shouldn't be here. I always get that feeling if there's nobody around. Don't you?
When there are roads and obvious tracks but nobody about it just gives off that feeling of ' you don't belong here' kind of vibes. But I have a good nose about anyway. Hopefully a farmer won't shoot me one day as that would be a bit crap.
But I wandered around here for 2 hours and saw not a soul which is weird as it's mid summer and there should be lots of people walking, jogging, walking their dogs, cycling or anything really. But not today. There were no signs forbidding me and no fences stopping me so I carried on.
But eventually I grew a little tired and figured i should wander back to the boat. I mean it was only a little stroll not a full on exploration. I did enjoy it though and it was a little cooler than the furnace hot days this past week.
I still think someone's watching me though.
