Hail to the Hive!
Today has been an eventful day to say the least most of which was spent wandering around the Pyramids in Giza and also riding camels, as you do.
Tired but extremely happy and reviewing hundreds of photographs and sifting through them as I sit overlooking the ancient view sipping on Egyptian beer. A damned good day and I’m sure the Pharaoh Khufu would approve.
Both and I gathered so much material today I just didn’t know where to start but I then thought what better place to exibit some old stone than in #monomad. Got to be done.
So I’ve pulled out a few of the pointy building pictures that I had a mind for black and white for and here we are.
So much has been written about these structures and so much has still to be learned about them which comes as no surprise when you gaze upon them with your own eyes. I mean 2.3 million stone blocks to build the Knufu Pyramid. 2.3 million! Boggles my tiny mind.
It is an incredibly popular site to visit so we made sure and get there early. We met a soanish dude over coffee just beforehand and the 3 of us were the first three to enter the site today. Result! As we came down 4 hours later it was a human zoo. I am tempted to pop back in again tomorrow morning as it was pretty amazing with nobody about.
But for now, more beer
