Hail to the Hive!

Today was an amazing cruising day on Badger the Narrowboat. We crossed valleys on aqueducts and cruised through glorious hills and stunning scenery and ended up at Llangollan.

I needed to do a grocery run and another boater gave me directions. When he said “ cross the bridge over the river Dee” he failed to say. Holy shit the view is epic. Because as I walked over the bridge this was my view!

I was blown away. I was only going to get groceries and it’s on.y a ten minute walk and this is the view. I mean really? Wow.

The whole trip from aqueduct crossing to beautiful canal views has been amazing but to think we only thought of coming here to empty the toilet and shop for groceries and then this was what lay before us. So as you can imagine our short term plans have changed.
