Hail to the Hive!
I’m going to miss the little walks around the various mooring spots we stop at on Badger the Narrowboat once we’ve moved off of her in a few weeks. I like these solitary walks, taking in the surroundings and of course being able to gather endless content for hive posts. But the little explorations have been a good personal time for me, good me time, good thinking time.
As much as the plan is to get another boat after the winter you can never be sure what will happen and what little surprises and curve balls life with chuck at you. I sense some big changes ahead. I can feel it.
So for the remaining few weeks I have left I will be making the most of the canal environment and surroundings as I will really miss it when we move off of Badger. She’s been a good home and a great little boat to explore the waterways for a year and a half. The time has certainly flown by.
But whatever happens there’s always another adventure to be had!
