I took these photos in 2016 when a sunflower field was discovered by all the photographers and photography enthusiasts in the city where I lived.
The news spread through some social network, that a sunflower field was in full bloom in a neighborhood of the city, a bit far from the central area but still within the urban landscape. Everyone rushed there to take selfies and Instagram-worthy photos, and of course, I couldn’t miss the opportunity.
I invited a friend, and we went to take some pictures. However, when I started editing the images, I could hardly recognize myself in them. Naturally, the yellow of the flowers was stunning, and combined with the blue sky, there was an inherent joy in those colors. But I just couldn’t feel satisfied with the result. So I edited the photos in black and white, and that’s when I finally felt happy with what I was seeing.
These are some of the photos I took that day, and they are my entry for today’s Monomad challenge.
Hope you like them!
