I recently turned this first photo into an NFT and I'm still surprised at the success it has made among the community. It was even chosen to be the cover of the Objkt.com marketplace, which operates on the tezos blockchain.
It was pretty amazing to see my work get so much attention, especially since photography still doesn't get the same recognition among NFTs as other digital arts categories.
Fortunately this seems to be changing. So I consider this to be a victory for all photographers.
I named the image "I had a dream about death" and wrote a few lines about this dream.
i had a dream about death. i was struggling in bed and at that moment i was living in two worlds: one of awake people and another where everything was just a nightmare.
i woke up with her voice calling my name and then i understood that it was not a dream.
i felt you die in my own flesh, as if my heart almost stopped to warn me that yours was no longer beating.
The images below have not been minted yet (and I really don't know if they ever will be), but I also wanted to put them here as my entry for today's #monomad challenge.
All images were made in 2013 and they mean a lot to me.
