Abandoned houses are without a doubt my favorite setting for photoshoots.
Besides imagining everything that has happened within those walls, I find that the shoots always have a mysterious atmosphere.
In this house, which is located in the city of Santa Bárbara D'Oeste in the interior of the state of São Paulo (Brazil), the mysterious air is guaranteed, because besides being very old, parts of the ceiling have fallen and roots of plants and trees have invaded the property.
These images specifically were made right under an open clearing in the living room after the ceiling fell in.
These photos were taken in 2013 with model Elisa Campos and are my entry today for the #monomad challenge.
