Yesterday i went with the family to the local zoo to see if there would be any young born animals to watch.
The last time i was there they had young baboons.
This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.
1 ) Tremarctos ornatus / Andean bear no young animals here
2 ) The Zebra
3 ) This zebra could be pregnant , it was a bit hard to tell .
We did see a pregnant Giraffe , but I couldn't get a good picture of her.
4 ) Mother chimp and her young , they are in a large out door area surrounded by thick chickenwire , that is the patern you see back in the photo.
5 ) Rhino
6 )
7 ) Time to feed the penguins , no young ones here yet.
8 ) No little piglets
9 )The meerkats could have young but they didn't show up outside.
10 ) Sleeping on the ground a baby elephant from only week old.
11 ) Another baboon baby on the back of his mom
12 ) And then we had a nice close encounter with the ring-tailed lemurs.
Ussualy when we get here they are hiding inside or keep their distance.
13 ) They didn't seem to mind our company at all .
14 ) There is no fence in this area between us and the ring-tailed lemurs .
That is all for today all photos were created by me and all rights reserved !!
