The wonderful Castle San Antonio is located at the top of the city of Cumaná - Venezuela, this castle was built by hand by the royalist soldiers of Spain when their domain was in what we call today "Venezuela"
This castle is full of history and mysteries that have not yet been fully discovered, from the heights of the town all enemy ships that wanted to penetrate the coasts were watched, which this strong fort defended the ships from a distance with powerful cannons enemies of some Dutch.
This castle has dungeons that are still kept where they were useful for some criminals of the time and also for some captured enemies, in these dungeons there were also some Venezuelan national heroes liberators of Great Colombia, Peru and Ecuador.
After the patriot revolt where they removed and expelled all the Spaniards because of how exclaimers they were, this castle was left under the command of the Grand Marshal of Ayacucho, Antonio José de Sucre.
The castle has secret passages, tunnels and traps, also the story is possible that there is some great treasure kept.
Some of the secret corridors reveal a path to a nearby fort called "Fortín de la Cabeza" which will soon bring pictures.
