Today unexpectedly became a day of clouds. I first noticed them in the afternoon while sitting outside for my daily dose of vitamin D. The sunlight was intense and direct, filling the sky with a sharp brightness. While I was sitting there quietly, one cloud immediately caught my attention. The sun was nearby, and because the light was falling so strongly around it, the edges of the cloud began glowing brilliantly. In the photographs, long streaks of light spread through the sky around the cloud, creating a soft halo-like effect. The rays almost look like thin streams flowing outward and downward, making the cloud appear luminous against the darker tones surrounding it.
आज का दिन अनजाने में बादलों का दिन बन गया। दोपहर में मैंने सबसे पहले उन्हें तब ध्यान से देखा जब मैं अपनी रोज़ की विटामिन डी लेने के लिए बाहर बैठी हुई थी। धूप बहुत तेज़ और सीधी थी, जिससे पूरा आसमान चमकदार दिखाई दे रहा था। मैं बस शांति से बैठी थी कि तभी एक बादल ने तुरंत मेरा ध्यान अपनी ओर खींच लिया। सूरज उसके बिल्कुल पास था, और उसकी तेज़ रोशनी बादल के किनारों पर इस तरह पड़ रही थी कि वे चमकने लगे। तस्वीरों में आसमान के चारों ओर फैली रोशनी की लंबी किरणें एक हल्का-सा प्रभामंडल जैसा प्रभाव बना रही हैं। ये किरणें पतली धाराओं की तरह बाहर और नीचे की ओर फैलती हुई दिखाई देती हैं, जिससे वह बादल आसपास के गहरे रंगों के बीच और भी अधिक चमकदार और जीवंत लगने लगा।
I clicked the first picture almost instantly. After that, I stood up from the stool and walked toward the balcony to view the sky from another angle. More clouds slowly came into sight there. Some looked small and scattered while others appeared denser. A few tiny birds also flew past during that moment, appearing only briefly as dark moving shapes against the bright background before disappearing again.
मैंने पहली तस्वीर लगभग तुरंत ही खींच ली। उसके बाद मैं स्टूल से उठी और आसमान को दूसरे कोण से देखने के लिए बालकनी की ओर चली गई। वहाँ से और भी बादल धीरे-धीरे नज़र आने लगे। कुछ छोटे और बिखरे हुए थे, जबकि कुछ अधिक घने दिखाई दे रहे थे। उसी दौरान कुछ छोटी चिड़ियाँ भी उड़ती हुई गुज़रीं, जो चमकदार आसमान के बीच कुछ पल के लिए गहरे चलते हुए आकारों की तरह दिखीं और फिर नज़र से ओझल हो गईं।
Later in the evening, during my walk, the clouds looked completely different. They had gathered above the distant hills in large formations, stretching across the horizon. Some parts were shining brightly where the setting sun touched them, while the lower sections remained darker and heavier.
शाम को अपनी सैर के दौरान बादल बिल्कुल अलग दिखाई दे रहे थे। वे दूर की पहाड़ियों के ऊपर बड़े-बड़े समूहों में इकट्ठा हो गए थे और पूरे क्षितिज तक फैले हुए थे। जहाँ डूबते सूरज की रोशनी उन पर पड़ रही थी, वहाँ कुछ हिस्से तेज़ी से चमक रहे थे, जबकि नीचे के भाग अब भी गहरे और भारी दिखाई दे रहे थे।
As the sun moved lower, the hills slowly faded into shadow while the clouds continued catching the remaining light. The sky kept changing throughout the day from glowing afternoon rays to heavy evening formations, making even familiar views feel unusually dramatic and alive.
जैसे-जैसे सूरज नीचे उतरता गया, पहाड़ियाँ धीरे-धीरे छाया में खोने लगीं, जबकि बादल अब भी बची हुई रोशनी को अपने भीतर समेटे हुए थे। दिनभर आसमान लगातार बदलता रहा। दोपहर की चमकती किरणों से लेकर शाम के भारी बादलों तक। इस बदलते दृश्य ने परिचित नज़ारों को भी असामान्य रूप से जीवंत और नाटकीय बना दिया।
