Once upon a time when there were no GPS devices the only direction in the night were these lanterns.
Our grandfathers and great-grandfathers orientated themselves with their help.
I live in an area with a lot of rocks, islands and islets and regardless of all the technology they give us directions and the direction we have to go.
Some are red, some are green, some are white, some are made of stone, some are made of concrete, some are iron, but they all have the same function of safely guiding us through the night.
