We who live near the equator have never seen the sun appear at night; the midnight sun phenomenon is only experienced by those who live in northern Europe. But, we can only see the moon appear at night and during the day at times. The sun and the moon are both parts of the solar system.

- The sighting of the crescent moon was taken in Lhokseumawe, Aceh, on Monday, 25/04/2022, at 06.25 am. And the following three photographs of the sun were taken at the same time in succession.
