Good evening, #Monomad friends
Here is my entry for the #monomad contest by and

When there is a place that we are particularly fond of, no matter how many times we visit it, and no matter how many years go by, what can happen is that we become increasingly enamored and enchanted by it.
I don't know if you have a place like that. There is a place I love to visit, alone or with company, in good weather or bad... There is practically nothing I don't like about it. I am talking about Belém, one of the most visited parishes in the capital of Portugal, for many specific reasons.
The beauty of the historic buildings, which were among the most important in our country, leaves no one indifferent to their magnificence.
On one of my frequent visits, I passed in front of the Jerónimos Monastery, the Planetarium of the Navy Museum, and the Belém Cultural Center...
The architectural contrast between them does not distance them, but rather unites them in a very special way. The white tone of the stone chosen to build them manages to convey a very particular light. Even on very cloudy days, such as the one when I passed by, the sky takes on a completely dramatic proportion, leaving a fantastic backdrop for photography.
And you, do you have a place you like to revisit often?
I hope you enjoyed my post here in the B&W community
