Memories play a vital role in shaping our comprehension of the world and our personal views. I've had series of memories captured in black and white which I want to share with you all; I hope you'd all have fun reading along with me.
This picture captures the first day I had my hair relaxed. The feeling was one that I won't forget in a long while. On getting to the hair salon, I asked the hair stylist if the process is always painful ; all I got as response was laughter from other clients.
I was scared of getting my head burnt as I often see some people rushing to wash it off, after putting the relaxer. At the end of the process, I had a different view of what relaxing of hair meant ; I enjoyed the process.
Do you know the feeling of doing a work and having a satisfactory comment from a client? That was the feeling evident in this photo when I made this amazing two piece for my client.
She loved every bit of it, from how the lines coordinated both on the top and the pant. The fitting was exactly how she needed it. It looked just like the ready-to-wear she requested. I just couldn't help but capture it for a memory to look back at.
Family! Yea , it is what it is. After God, family above all. I always ensure to make every moment shared with this folks count. They could be the most annoying set of human beings to handle but, what is home without having noise from another entity asides animals, LOL!
The one on my right is my last B, if humor was a person, I'd say it's him. The small head on my left is my cousin. As young as she is, she is hard working and have good prospects for herself. At such a young age she knows how to braid hair, yea! Surprised? Don't be.
What's life without making friends, without building relationship. I have people who make me smile and this ones are not exempted. You cannot have a boring day with this people around. I love them.
The day I got sworn in as a professional teacher remains one of the days of my life that will be replaying each day something like this takes place : starting from reuniting with my course mates and other people, the happiness in the faces of everyone present, the procession into the massive hall, the oath taking and finally the certification process. I love my profession; I don't waste time in flaunting it.
Finally, this photo reminds me of my love for twin. These are my mistress's children. They used to make work place fun. They like being around me ; they love taking photos too. The fact that I have brothers that are twin gives me the hope that I'd have mine too someday, lol!
I have a lot of memories in my memory bank but I'd like to halt here. I hope you had fun reading it.
