As children of God, it's essential to remember that our worth is not defined by human standards. We often hear people talk about someone's net worth, implying that their value is tied to their wealth. But the truth is, nobody can define your worth as a child of God.
God made you uniquely, with a value that goes far beyond human comprehension. You are His handiwork, crafted with precision and love. Your worth is not comparable to anything else in this world. You are priceless, and your value is far beyond human understanding.
Inscribed on the Palm of His Hand
In Isaiah 49:16, we read that God has inscribed us on the palm of His hand. This means that our value is forever etched in God's memory, and He will never forget us. You are worth more than gold, silver, or any earthly treasure. You are worth more than the US dollar or any other currency.
In addition to your immense value, God also thinks good thoughts about you. He desires to prosper you and give you a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). What else could you possibly lack when you have God's love, value, and good thoughts about you?
Discard the Lies
Unfortunately, we often hear lies from the world, the devil, and even our own minds that contradict God's truth about our worth. We must discard these lies and instead, walk in the reality of our value in Christ.
Walking in Your Worth
When we understand our worth in God's eyes, we begin to live differently. We won't settle for mediocrity or accept anything that comes our way. We'll decide, in agreement with God, what we allow into our lives. We'll go for the best and shun anything that doesn't align with our value as children of God.
No Nation is Worth Your Price
In fact, no nation on earth is worth your price. You are a precious gem, valuable and cherished by God. When you know this, you won't settle for less. You'll walk with confidence, knowing that you are a child of the King.
Prayer
Father, thank you for the huge price you paid to make us this valuable. We don't take it for granted. Help us to walk in the reality of our worth, discarding every lie that contradicts your truth about us. May we live confidently, knowing that we are priceless in your eyes.
